Fear of murder of Vinod, villagers and family members reached SP office, pleaded for justice

Amit Pandey, Khairagarh. Villagers of village Khapri Teli of the district reached Khairagarh Superintendent of Police office today and met SP Trilok Bansal. During this, Tikam Nishad expressed apprehension that his 24-year-old son Vinod Nishad might be murdered and also submitted an application for investigation and action.

In fact, on April 21, deceased Vinod Nishad had gone to Baldevpur in his friend’s wedding procession, but left the wedding procession at 10 pm for Bhardakala with Roshan Sahu to attend another wedding. According to Roshan Sahu, he had an accident the same night, in which Vinod Nishad was seriously injured. After the accident, Vinod was brought to Khairagarh Civil Hospital in a blood-soaked condition.

In the whole matter, Sonu Ram Nishad, elder brother of the deceased Vinod, told that at around 1 o’clock on the night of 21st April, Khapri Sidar resident Komal Janghel reached his house and told him the news of Vinod’s accident. As soon as the news was received, Vinod’s family along with Komal went to Khairagarh. Reached civil hospital. In the hospital, Vinod was unconscious, drenched in blood and serious injury marks were visible on his head, eyes and genitals. The injury was so serious that Vinod’s bleeding was not stopping even after stitches. In view of this, he was referred to Rajnandgaon from Khairagarh Civil Hospital, but Vinod was not treated even in Rajnandgaon, so he was taken to Raipur DKS Hospital, but on the morning of 24 April, Vinod was declared dead.

The family of deceased Vinod Nishad and elder brother Sonu Ram have expressed fear of murder regarding the entire matter. Deceased Vinod had not gone to the program in Baldevpur, but when Roshan Sahu was asked, he told that Vinod had an accident, whereas both of them had gone to the program on separate motorcycles. Family members believe that Vinod Nishad was murdered in a planned manner and it is being termed as an accident. Today, the family of the deceased and the villagers met Superintendent of Police Trilok Bansal and told him the whole story and also submitted a written complaint letter. The Superintendent of Police assured to investigate and take action.
