Urban Administration and Development and Labor Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria has said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, all the work is being done in Chhattisgarh for the benefit of the farmers of the state. He said that majority of the population in Chhattisgarh is dependent on agriculture and we are all dependent on farmers. Farmers of the state are getting prosperous due to farmer friendly policy and decisions. Minister Dr. Dahria said that farmers’ loans have been waived, irrigation tax has been waived for the benefit of farmers. There is enough electricity for irrigation. Under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, the amount is being transferred directly to the farmers in their bank accounts as input assistance. For the needs of the families of the farmers, under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, amount is being deposited in the accounts of the farmers before the Teej festivals of Chhattisgarh. In the same way, people belonging to weaker sections including youth, women are being benefitted by many welfare schemes. Dr. Dahria was addressing the inauguration of development works and Bhoomi Pujan program in different villages of Arang block of Raipur district here today. Dr. Dahria today gifted development works worth more than one crore 24 lakhs in village Semaria, Pacheda Barbhatha and Rasni of Arang. Urban Administration Minister said that Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitan Clubs have been formed in villages. He said that Mitan clubs have maximum number of women members. Dr. Dahria has asked the members of Yuva Mitan Club to get the works of their villages done on priority after adequate interaction with the villagers. He said that the members should cooperate in getting the benefits of the schemes of the government to the people of their villages. Give information about government schemes to the people in village-village. The Urban Administration Minister, during his public relations visit, encouraged the players of the Mitan Club level Chhattisgarhia Olympic Games and distributed prizes to the winning players. Minister Dr. Dahria spent Rs.6.5 lakh in Ambedkar Chowk in village Semaria in Arang, community building at Sumit Park costing Rs.6 lakh 50 thousand, community building in Yadav Mohalla costing Rs.5 lakh, community building in Meherpara. The cost of Rs. 3 lakh and the Rang Manch near Dr. Vikram’s house costing Rs. 2 lakh was inaugurated. Similarly, the Bhoomipujan of the hostel building of Kabirpanthi Sahu Samaj, which was to be built at a cost of Rs.5 lakh, was performed. Dr. Dahria inaugurated a new primary school building at village Pacheda costing Rs.16 lakh 64 thousand, community building at Satnami Para costing Rs.6 lakh 50 thousand and theater costing Rs.3 lakh. Similarly, works of new Panchayat Bhawan worth Rs.14 lakh 50 thousand and Adarsh Gram Yojana costing Rs.40 lakh were inaugurated in village Barbhatha. Dr. Dahria constructed community building in Rasni village at a cost of Rs.6 lakh. Launched. During his intensive public relations tour of Arang area, Dr. Dahria also agreed to get the works including Rang Manch, Community Hall, CC Road and other works done on the demand of the people.
