The Excise Department had received a complaint against PVR, which operates cinema in City Center Mall, Pandri, that PVR is not giving tickets to the audience even after seats are vacant in the movie show and the show Housefull board has been put up. After this complaint, the Excise Department has got the entire matter investigated. In the investigation report submitted by the Excise Department, it has been said that The Kashmir Files movie was aired in 3 shows for the first time with 50 per cent capacity in the booking chart of PVR on Friday, 11th March 2022. After this, the next day on March 12, 2022, according to the order of the government, the film was shown by selling tickets in 4 shows according to the capacity of the total seats. According to the investigating officer, 09 shows of the film on Sunday and 08 shows of the film on Monday were broadcast as per cent percent capacity. This film is being shown in 10 shows on Tuesday 15 March 2022. According to the investigating officer, out of 267 seats in the show at 3.25 pm, 256 seats were full and out of 176 tickets for the show at 5.45 pm were sold out. According to the investigating officer, this figure has been taken from the booking chart of the PVR operator. Similarly, PVR, operating at City Center Mall, Pandri, has lodged a written complaint with Devendra Nagar police station against those spreading confusion in this regard. Giving a written complaint to the police station, the PVR management has said that since March 12, 2022, films are being screened in PVR with 100% capacity as per the order of the government.
