Everyone will participate in the Navnirman of Sakti district: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today launched Sakti district. With this, Sakti came into existence as the 33rd district of the state after being separated from Janjgir-Champa district. On the occasion of the inauguration of the district, the Chief Minister inaugurated 309 different development works worth Rs 153 crore and performed bhoomi pujan. He inaugurated the office of Collector and Superintendent of Police. He wished the people of the area for the new district and said that the dream of Garhbo Nava Chhattisgarh which we all had seen, we are moving towards fulfilling it. He said that today we are fulfilling the dream of our ancestors. We have fulfilled the promise of district creation. Now we will have everyone’s participation in the Navnirman of Sakti district. The Chief Minister said that with the formation of the government in Chhattisgarh, we are working continuously in the field of health, education and culture. We are working for the health of the people through works like Mukhyamantri Suposhan Yojana, Haat Bazar Clinic Yojna, District Hospital. In the field of education, we have started Swami Atmanand School. He said that no government in Chhattisgarh would have formed 85 tehsils in a single tenure, we have created 85 tehsils, so that the general public gets convenience and maximum benefits of government schemes can be availed. Mr. Baghel said that the Collectorate and SP office have been set up temporarily in the college, but new buildings of both the offices should be constructed within a year. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated various development works and performed Bhoomi Pujan. In which Rs.8 crore 73 lakh for 105 development works under Education Department, Rs.4 crore 82 lakh for 81 development works under Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Rs.8 crore 17 lakh for 32 development works under Cooperation Department, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Rs 20 crore 73 lakh for 39 development works under health department, Rs 3 crore 40 lakh for 15 development works, Rs 21 crore 69 lakh for 12 development works under water resources department, 6 development works under urban administration department 5 crore 68 lakh rupees, 1 crore 52 lakh rupees for one development work under Tribal Welfare Department and 10 crore 40 lakh rupees for 5 development works under Public Works Department. Apart from this, 37 lakh rupees for 3 development works under Education Department, 28 lakh rupees for 4 development works under Panchayat and Rural Development Department, 23 crore 95 lakh rupees for 3 development works under Public Works Bridge Department, one development under Health Department. Rs.34 lakh for the work, Rs.1 crore 52 lakh for a development work under the Tribal Welfare Department and Rs.41 crore 38 lakh for a development work under the Public Works Department. On this occasion Speaker of the Assembly Dr. Charandas Mahant, Minister of Revenue and Disaster Management, Rehabilitation, Commercial Tax (Registration and Stamp) and Minister in-charge of the district Mr. Jaisingh Agrawal, Home Jail, Public Works, Tourism Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Vice President Chhattisgarh Rural and Backward Classes Development Authority and MLA Chandrapur Mr. Ramkumar Yadav, Chairman Chhattisgarh State Cow Service Commission Rajeshree Dr. Mahant Ramsunder Das, Chairman Chhattisgarh State Shakambhari Board Shri Ramkumar Patel, MP Smt.
