Under the Jal-Jeevan Mission scheme, domestic tap connection is to be provided to every rural household to provide pure drinking water. Along with domestic tap connection, tap connection is to be provided in public institutions like Gram Panchayat Bhawan, School, Anganwadi Center, Health Center, Wellness Center etc. The objective of this scheme is to provide adequate quantity of water to every rural household on regular basis by creating infrastructure for water supply.Under Jal-Jeevan Mission, development of drinking water sources and augmentation of existing sources is to be done for continuous supply of water. The laboratory facility will be used to monitor the water quality of already established rural areas. Under this mission, a plan can be made to supply water to one village or more villages from the existing source.
Under Jal Jeevan Mission, under retrofitting tap water supply scheme, one crore four lakh 38 thousand rupees in village Amsena of Raipur district, 98 lakh 10 thousand rupees in village Akolikala, 60 lakh 32 thousand rupees in village Bhelwadih, 99 lakh 30 thousand in village Bithaya Rs.69 lakh 11 thousand in village Janjgira, Rs.74 lakh 89 thousand in village Sirve, Rs.99 lakh 67 thousand in village Bhibhauri, Rs.73 lakh 95 thousand in village Tohra, Rs.96 lakh 13 thousand in village Tarashiv, village Manth. Administrative approval of Rs. 1 crore 42 lakh 32 thousand has been given in village Siri, Rs. 1 crore 6 lakh 82 thousand.
Similarly, in village Tulsi, Rs. 99 lakh 83 thousand rupees in Chapora, 1 crore 84 lakh 80 thousand rupees in village Mana, 1 crore 21 lakh 62 thousand rupees in village Datrenga, 54 lakh 39 thousand rupees in village Bhurkoni, 21 lakh 66 thousand rupees in village Lalpur, village Kukera 58 lakh 76 thousand rupees, 49 lakh 87 thousand rupees in village Dhaneli-2, 55 lakh 88 thousand rupees in village Raita, 47 lakh 76 thousand rupees in village Mujhan, 1 crore 32 lakh 17 thousand rupees in village Doma, 1 in village Khopra. Administrative approval has been given to Rs. 54 lakh 96 thousand, Rs. 1 crore 85 lakh 81 thousand in village Bhatgaon, Rs. 82 lakh 73 thousand in village Rakhi and Rs. 1 crore 2 lakh 73 thousand in village Sonperi.
