Under the leadership of State Convener Kamal Verma and Department Head Employees Union President Ramsagar Kaushale, a rally was taken out at Indravati Bhawan and a memorandum was submitted to the Chief Secretary in the Ministry. At the Raipur Collectorate, a memorandum was submitted under the leadership of provincial spokesperson Chandrashekhar Tiwari in a demonstration. Officials of Chhattisgarh Employees Officer Federation said that before the assembly elections, it was announced that under the guarantee of Modi, dearness allowance and dearness relief would be given to the employees of the state at the same level as the Center if the government is formed. The amount of pending DA arrears will be credited to the GPF account of the employees.
