Electricity supply has been rectified by installing a new transformer in village Dongadarha.

According to the information received from the Executive Engineer (Sancha/Sangha) of Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited, Pathalgaon, the village Dongadarha comes under the development block Pathalgaon distribution center Kotba. 63 KVA installed at Pujaripara of village Dongadarha. Transformer failure on 12 October 2022 was informed by Junior Engineer through PLCC on the same date. Electricity supply has been rectified by installing a new transformer in village Dongadarha on October 21, 2022. There are 45 electricity consumers in the said locality of the village. Last month, consumers with outstanding amount above Rs 20000 were informed through notice to make bill payment and rectification of bill etc. The power supply of the said village has never been cut. Nor has the power supply of any consumer been cut off. The power supply was closed for the last one week due to transformer failure. The post of Junior Engineer in distribution center Kotba is vacant. Additional charge of the said distribution center has been given to Mr. Sheetal Sameer Toppo, junior engineer posted in the Kansabel distribution center. On every Thursday, the work of resolving consumer’s problems and bill rectification is done by being present in the office of Assistant Engineer, Consabel and Junior Engineer Distribution Center office, Kotba at full office hours. Due to non-payment of bills of the consumers of the said village for a long time, there has been a huge increase in the arrears, in this regard, instructions have been given to the Assistant Engineer Consabel to rectify the wrong bills of the consumers.
