Raipur. Regarding Naxalism, CM Vishnudev Sai has said that ever since he has come to the government, he is fighting firmly with Naxalism. Our call is also that Naxalite firing, renounce the path of violence and join the mainstream of development, you will be justice. CM said, so far more than 1100 Naxalites have surrendered, justice is being done to them. 15 thousand PM houses have been approved. They will also work to connect them with employment by screening them.
The government will now give more encouragement to the Naxalites returning to the mainstream of the society, leaving violence in Naxal -affected Chhattisgarh. Under the new Naxal surrender policy prepared under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, those who surrender collective surrender will not only get double amount of declared reward, but also special development works of one crore will be done in Gram Panchayats declared Naxal -free.
If 80 percent or more active members of any formation unit of Naxalite organization collectively surrender, then they will be provided double the amount of prize money declared against them. Also, if all the Naxalite and militia members active in a gram panchayat area like Sukma, Bijapur, Dantewada, Narayanpur and Kanker are surrendered and the gram panchayat is declared as Naxal -free, then developmental works of one crore rupees will be sanctioned there.
Under the new policy, if both husband and wife surrender, they will be given the benefit of different rehabilitation schemes considering them separate unit. However, if both are considered to be a unit in a scheme, then according to there, you will get the benefit. The prize money will be determined separately for both.
Relief and assistance amount will be received within 10 days of surrender
Relief and assistance to the Naxalite surrendering will be made available from the budget of the Home Department. The District Collector has to ensure that the entire amount is provided to the concerned person within 10 days of surrender. If there are already criminal cases registered on a surrendered Naxalite, then the sub -committee of the Council of Ministers can consider abolishing these matters in view of its contribution to eradication of Naxalism and good conduct for up to 6 months.
