During the ‘Run for CG Pride’ organized in the capital Raipur today, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel described the disabled mountaineer Shri Chitrasen Sahu, who conquered the highest peaks of three continents of the world, as the pride of the state. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel congratulated and encouraged Mr. Chitrasen for making the state proud by completing the mountaineering expedition despite facing adversity. On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel announced to provide assistance of Rs. 12 lakh 60 thousand to the disabled mountaineer Mr. Chitrasen Sahu for his fourth mountaineering expedition. The said amount will be provided to Mr. Chitrasen from CSR head. On this announcement of the Chief Minister, Divyang mountaineer Mr. Chitrasen Sahu expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel while expressing his vote of thanks. Shri Chitrasen Sahu said through a tweet, “Thank you respectfully for your cooperation, Honorable Chief Minister. Now I will try my best to make the name of Chhattisgarh Mahtari proud again by climbing Mount Akonkagua. In Chhattisgarh, work has been done in the direction of inclusive development by implementing public welfare schemes for every section. On this occasion of self-respect and pride of Chhattisgarh, ‘Run for CG Pride’ was organized in the capital Raipur today, in which more than 20 thousand runners participated from all over the state.
