District water and sanitation mission meeting completed under the chairmanship of the collector: After giving information about the provision of drinking water in the district, instructions were given

Collector Mr. Nilesh Kumar Kshirsagar took a meeting of District Water and Sanitation Mission today. In the meeting, he reviewed the situation after taking information about the arrangement of drinking water in the district. Collector said that tender works should be started and better arrangements for drinking water should be made. Executive Engineer of Public Health Engineering Department Mr. Pramod Katlam informed that out of 9772 installed hand pumps in the district, 9751 hand pumps are operational. Only 21 hand pumps are closed as the water level falls. Similarly, there is a target of 357 tubewell mining in the year 2020-21, out of which 295 tube well mining has been completed. Similarly, all the iron-rich plants have been completed in 52. 3-3 plants of fluoride and arsenic plant are operational. 340 works have been approved for installation of solar pump, 99 of which have been completed and started. 90% work of Rajim Amvardhan Water Supply Scheme has been completed and is on trial stage. 219 tap solar pumps are to be installed in the district under the Water Life Mission. Approval of solar based tender invite rate has been received in the village settlements under the mission. Also, the retrofitting work of the tap water supply scheme operated under the mission, solar based fluoride removal plant in 38 schools of single village, Devbhog was discussed. Additional Collector Mr. JR Chaurasia, Public Health Engineering and officers of the concerned department were present in the meeting.
