Gaurav Diwas was organized today on completion of four years of governance under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. The district level program was organized at Gauthan located in Nangur. This is the reason why the number of farmers selling paddy has increased continuously in the last four years and it is estimated that 110 lakh tonnes of paddy will be procured this year. Along with this, irrigation tax was also waived. This government is also giving incentives every year to the farmers who plant fruit trees along with small grain crops like Kodo-Kutki, Ragi along with paddy. It is encouraging organic agriculture by purchasing cow dung and cow urine. Rural economy is being strengthened through Rural Industrial Park. Through this production is being promoted, while C-marts are being opened for sale. The rate per standard bag of Tendupatta has been increased from Rs.2500 to Rs.4000. Four years ago, where only seven types of minor forest produce were purchased at the support price, now its number has increased to 65. People living in forest areas were given forest rights pattas and were linked to Rajiv Nyay Yojana as well as other schemes. The work of returning more than 4200 acres of land to farmers in Bastar was also done by this government. When the Chief Minister had reached here in a meeting program, the people here had demanded Atmanand School and the Chief Minister announced to fulfill this demand of the people and opened the school. Along with this, Tehsil, police station and 133 KV sub-station were also gifted here. Health services are now reaching every village through Haat-Bazar clinics. Keeping in view the needs of the public, the positive results of the implementation of the schemes are also visible quickly. On this occasion, the fisheries department provided nets and ice boxes to the beneficiaries. On this occasion, public welfare schemes of the government were displayed by the Public Relations Department through attractive graphics and photographs. Along with this, the villagers were motivated to take advantage of the schemes of the government by giving information about the schemes of the government through drama and songs.
