In the Joint District Office Complex Balodabazar, Collector Sunil Kumar Jain distributed battery operated tricycles to 14 disabled people with more than 80 percent disability. On this occasion, while wishing everyone a bright future, he asked them to stay safe from Kovid infection and get vaccinated. Giving information about the program, Deputy Director Social Welfare Asha Shukla said that keeping in view the corona infection, motorized tricycles are being distributed to the eligible beneficiaries who have applied before development block, instead of organizing big ones. In this sequence, battery-operated tricycles have been distributed to 14 Divyangjans of Bilaigarh and Kasdol development blocks.
The names of the beneficiaries are Dukhuram Chauhan Devgaon, Panchram Sahu Govindband, Jamuna Bai Khuten Raikona, Rukhdas Sahu Jamgahan, Panchram Patel Dhobni, Jaykumar Yadav Kushgarh, Ramphal Sagar Purgaon, Ganeshi Banjare Mohtra, Durgakenwat Amaldiha, Gopichand Nirala, Mudpar, Mohanlal Chauhan, Jilapalan, Mohan Lal Chauhan Manikpuri Ricotar, Shyambai Muchmalda, Usha Patel are residents of Sajapali. Pancharam Patel, a resident of Gram Panchayat Dhobni under Bilaigarh block, has studied engineering. He told that at present he is earning a living by teaching tuitions to school children at his own home. But now with the advent of battery operated tricycles, new doors of livelihood have been opened for them. Now he can increase his income by going from house to house and also by giving his services in coaching, educational institute etc. During this, Farit Ram Patel artist, Kamlesh Kumar Rai and Smt. Manju Banjare from Social Welfare Department were also present.
