Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated various works in Dhamdha block of Durg district at a cost of Rs 55 crore and distributed Bhoomi Pujan and material. On this occasion, he inaugurated vegetable and fruit market constructed at a cost of Rs 11 crore. Along with this, Community Health Center and Senior Agricultural Extension Officer building constructed at a cost of Rs. 1 crore 75 lakh was also inaugurated. Along with this, Rs 18 crore schemes of Water Resources Department were inaugurated and Bhoomi Pujan of Rs 15 crore schemes of PHE Department was also done. In his address on the occasion, he said that Dhamdha has been identified as Six Agar, Six Kori Talab. It has always had a historical identity. Now it is also recognized for the production of tomatoes and horticulture crops. The farmers of Dhamdha have also supplied within the country and outside the country in Bangladesh and Pakistan. This achievement of the farmers has been spectacular. Behind this is the hard work of Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey. We accepted the plan made by him for the market. He has embodied it very quickly and well. With the formation of this market, farmers will be able to get a fair price for the crop. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced to upgrade the health center of Dhamdha to 50 beds. Along with this, he also announced to start coaching in PSC, Army recruitment and other competitive examinations in Dhamdha. Along with this, he also announced the stadium at a cost of one crore. The Chief Minister also announced for auditorium in Dhamdha Mahavidyalaya. Along with this, he also announced the beautification of ponds in Dhamdha. He announced an amount of one crore rupees for the beautification of the Bandhua pond. Along with this, he also announced Rs 1 crore for community building in Dhamdha on this occasion. In his remarks, the Chief Minister said that the government has taken all possible steps for the development of Dhamdha. Along with this, continuous development work will be done. He said that now Dhamdha is identified with horticulture crops. A market has been set up for the development of horticulture crops, along with that plans have been made to help the farmers in every possible way and adopt innovation. In his address on the occasion, Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey said that the beginning of the market is a very auspicious sign for the farmers of Dhamdha. Earlier also our farmers have been transporting their products from Hyderabad to Allahabad, now they will be able to get a fair price through the mandi. This is a very good gift of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel’s government to Dhamdha block. He said that irrigation system would be improved from Moti Nala and Raunda reservoir. In these 3 years, major works have been done to increase the area of ​​irrigation in Dhamdha. Distribution work of Rs 3 crore- The Chief Minister also distributed materials to the beneficiaries on this occasion. He distributed tractors to 50 farmers.
