In this regard, former Home Minister Nankiram Kanwar has submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. Former Home Minister Nankiram Kanwar has written in the memorandum that the Bhupesh government had issued an order to levy tax on coal, due to which ED is investigating the large-scale coal scam. SECL sells coal after completing all the processes through auction, on the basis of which delivery order is issued.

There is no provision for such an order in the Mining Rules and Regulations, therefore the order issued by the previous government should be immediately repealed.
