Demand for re-operation of Phulwari crash centers from the central government

Chhattisgarh has taken up the issue of restarting 2850 Phulwari Crash Centers and 400 Anganwadi cum-Crash Centers with the Central Government. Similarly, a demand has been made to approve the re-operation of the scheme with honorarium for 226 crash workers posted in the state in the Regional Consultation Conference organized by the Central Women and Child Development Department in Bhubaneswar. In the conference, detailed discussions were held to start Saksham Anganwadi and Mission Poshan 2.0, Mission Shakti and Mission Vatsalya in the entire country. In the conference, Divya Umesh Mishra, Director of Women and Child Development of Chhattisgarh told that there are 10 thousand Anganwadi centers in the state. It is being made a model Anganwadi centre. According to the goals of Saksham Anganwadi, if funds are given to the state, then in the year 2022-23 itself, 10 thousand model Anganwadi centers can be made. He raised important issues like vehicle arrangement for Left Wing Extremism affected districts like North Eastern states, vehicle arrangement for all Sakhi centres, increase in the fare item of Swadhar and Ujjwala Home etc. Mrs. Misra emphasized on better operation of programs related to women and children in the state. Increase in the honorarium of Anganwadi workers and assistants, increase in the financial criteria of supplementary nutrition, staff and infrastructure for effective extension and implementation of child protection scheme to the village level for effective protection of children, inflation in nutrition rates for the beneficiaries of Anganwadi Suggestions for increasing accordingly.
