Connect small marginal farmers and women groups with horticulture: Shri Ramkumar Patel

Chhattisgarh Shakambhari Board President Shri Ramkumar Patel and members Shri Pawan Patel, Shri Dukhva Patel and Shri Hari Patel reviewed the progress of departmental plans and programs by taking a meeting of the officers of Horticulture Department in Surajpur district today. In the meeting, the Chairman of Shakambhari Board gave instructions to the departmental officers to provide benefits of the schemes and programs of the Horticulture Department to the small marginal farmers. Chairman Shri Patel inquired about all the schemes operated in the Horticulture Department. He directed to prepare an action plan to promote horticulture farming through women self-help groups. Mr. Patel asked all the departmental officers to give wide publicity to the departmental schemes and programs and motivate and encourage the farmers to take advantage of it.
