Raipur. The issue of MMS of Congress MLA Devendra Yadav was raised in the Assembly. Senior BJP MLA Ajay Chandrakar sought information about the investigation into the MMS related FIR from Home Minister Vijay Sharma. Apart from this, he asked in his question whether this alleged MMS was examined in any forensic lab or not. In response, Home Minister Vijay Sharma said that Durg SP got the pen drive belonging to National Forensic Science University Gandhinagar (Gujarat) examined. In the absence of comparable standards no definite opinion could be formed on the investigation.

Let us tell you that during the budget session, Kurud MLA Ajay Chandrakar questioned Home Minister Vijay Sharma regarding the investigation of Devendra Yadav’s alleged MMS in the House. In which he asked whether from January 2023 to December 2023, an FIR was lodged in any police station in the district of the then MLA of Bhilai Nagar assembly constituency for investigation against him and any other MMS (CD)? Give information about this.

On which Home Minister Vijay Sharma said, no FIR has been registered.

Ajay Chandrakar further questioned whether in the above context the MLA had given instructions and orders to any police officer for oral investigation during the period from January to December 2023? If yes, when and to whom? Give information with complete details? Was forensic investigation of the alleged MMS (CD) conducted by police and other agencies?

Responding to this, Home Minister Sharma said, Superintendent of Police Durg got the pen drive belonging to National Forensic Science University Gandhinagar (Gujarat) investigated. In the absence of comparable standards no definite opinion could be formed on the investigation.
