Collector Shri Rajat Bansal and Superintendent of Police Shri Deepak Jha inspected the inter-state checkpoints on the border of the district at 10 pm on Monday 27 December to prevent illegal transportation of paddy coming from the border state of Odisha in Bastar district. During this, he made surprise inspections of Dhanpunji, Chokwara and Bhelapadar check posts near Railway crossing. Mr. Bansal instructed the SDM Mr. Markam to take action against the officers who were absent in duty. Assistant Collector Ms. Rena Jamil, SDM Mr. GR Markam and other officers were present on this inspection tour.
