CG Morning News: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will be on a two -day Mumbai tour from today. He will leave for Mumbai from Raipur at 8 am. The two will attend an exhibition held at the Bombay Exhibition Center at 1 pm. His participation in various industrial meetings is fixed from 6 pm. During the visit, the Chief Minister will meet major investors associated with Textile and Steel Industry. Chief Minister Sai will be present as a special guest at a two -day event held at Bombay Exhibition Center. Tomorrow, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the second day, the new industrial policy of Chhattisgarh will be presented from the National Forum. Today, on the first day, Chief Minister will join the CMAI Fab Show and communicate with investors in the textile sector.
Zone -wise meetings from today to 25 April regarding drinking water system
Zonwar review meetings regarding drinking water system in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, are starting today, which will continue till April 25. Santosh Seema Sahu, Chairman of the Municipal Corporation Water Work Department, will preside over these meetings, which will include officers and councilors. Today, Zones 5 and 7 will be reviewed, while Zones 1 and 2 on April 24 and Zone 10 and 8 on April 25 will be discussed. The progress of Amrit Mission and 24 × 7 Water Supply Scheme will also be reviewed in these meetings. Earlier meetings of Zones 4, 6 and 9 have been completed. Mayor Meenal Choubey has given instructions to make these meetings effective.
From today onwards ‘Chief Minister Good Governance Fellow Scheme’
The ‘Chief Minister Good Governance Fellow Scheme’ is being launched in Chhattisgarh from today. The event will be conducted in joint coordination of the Government of Government of Chhattisgarh and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur. Under this, postgraduate level course will be started in public policy and governance, in which students will also get an opportunity for practical training in various government departments. Interested candidates can apply from 23 April to 11 May. The selection will be done through CAT exam, and each selected student will be provided a scholarship of ₹ 50,000 per month. The entire expenditure of the syllabus will be borne by the state government, which will give young professionals an opportunity for active participation in governance and policy making.
‘Atal Panchayat Digital Facilitation Center’ started from tomorrow
From April 24, ‘Atal Panchayat Digital Facilitation Center’ will be started in 1460 gram panchayats of Chhattisgarh. Through these centers, various government services and digital facilities will be provided to the villagers at the same place, which will strengthen e-governance at the village level.
Jan Jagran Abhiyan from 25 April
The Chhattisgarh Bharatiya Janata Party is going to start a Jan Jagran Abhiyan from 25 April to amend the Waqf Act. The purpose of this campaign is to make the Muslim society aware of the benefits of proposed changes in Waqf law. Convenors have been appointed for campaigning in each state, in which state general minister Bharat Lal Verma has been given this responsibility in Chhattisgarh.
