Raipur. On CGPSC’s FIR in EOW, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai tweeted and wrote, today EOW has registered an FIR against former officers and leaders accused in the CGPSC mega scam. I assure all my children who sacrificed their future in this mega scam that the injustice done to you will be held to account.

Sai further wrote, the culprits will not be spared, we will take those who trade in your talent to their end. Let us tell you that in the case of PSC recruitment irregularities in Chhattisgarh, an FIR has been registered against some leaders including the then PSC Chairman Taman Singh Sonwani, Jeevan Kishore Dhruv.

BJP has been continuously raising this issue. Before coming to power, BJP had promised that if our government came to power, the PSC case would be investigated and the culprits would be sent to jail. BJP had also included this matter in its charge sheet. In such a situation, as promised, the BJP government has also decided to conduct a CBI investigation into the matter. Now FIR has also been registered against the culprits.

It is noteworthy that the final result of CG PSC 2021 was released on 11 May 2023. In this, PSC had recruited on 171 posts, out of which 15 people were selected for Deputy Collector. BJP had alleged that relatives of the PSC chairman and close relatives of Congress party leaders have got a place in the merit list. After these allegations, the Public Service Commission was under scanner and BJP leader Nanki Ram Kanwar had filed a petition in the High Court. After this, the court had given orders to stop the appointment of 18 people.
