On the occasion of Kartik Punni, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today reached Mahadev Ghat in the capital Raipur and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people by bathing Kartik Purnima in the Kharun river. After taking Kartik baths in the Kharun river, the Chief Minister offered prayers to Mahadev at the historic Hatakeshwar Mahadev Temple situated on the riverbed and prayed for the development of the state. The Chief Minister attended the traditional Ganga Aarti program and donated lamps. He congratulated and wished everyone on Kartik Purnima
Parliamentary Secretary Shri Vikas Upadhyay, State Cow Service Commission Chairman Mahant Ramsunder Das, Advisor to Chief Minister Shri Pradeep Sharma, Mayor Shri Ejaz Dhebar, Chairman of Municipal Corporation Shri Pramod Dubey and other dignitaries and large number of devotees were present.
