Hot nutritious food provides health along with taste, in view of this, through Chief Minister Suposhan Abhiyan, a start has been made to provide hot nutritious food to women and children. The positive impact of the campaign is being seen in the form of improvement in the nutritional status of women and children. A large number of women and children are coming out of malnutrition. Under the scheme, in the Anganwadi center Junapara of Korba district, a little girl child of two and a half years old has now become free from malnutrition. The agriculture of low birth weight has now come in the normal range of nutritional level. Under the Chief Minister’s Nutrition Campaign, nutritious ready-to-eat food was given to the farmers through Anganwadi. Along with this nutritious chikki and eggs were also given. Agriculture has become free from malnutrition due to healthy nutritious diet and health advice given in Anganwadi. Due to which his nutritional level had come in the moderate malnourished category. The weight of the farmer was taken in the Anganwadi, then it was 6 kg 800 grams and the length was 84.3 cm. which indicated moderate malnourishment levels for his age. In view of this, to improve the nutritional level of agriculture, the girl child was associated with the Chief Minister’s Nutrition Campaign. He was given nutritious hot food rice, roti, dal, two vegetables, pickle, papad, salad, jaggery, eggs, chikki in the Anganwadi center. Due to continuous availability of nutritious food through Anganwadi, the nutritional level of agriculture started improving. In the Chief Minister’s Child Reference Camp, his health check-up was also done and medicines were also given. Regular home visits by the Anganwadi workers made the parents of the farmer aware about cleanliness and nutrition and ensured the regular presence of the child in the Anganwadi center for hot food. Due to continuous good nutritious diet, Krishika’s weight became 9.7 kg in 27 months and her nutritional level became normal. Now agriculture has become healthy and malnutrition free.
