There was a review regarding the preparedness of the districts. On the prescribed subjects, the District Collectors informed the Chief Secretary in detail about the progress made so far. In the meeting, on the basis of the feedback of the districts, the difficulties faced in procurement of paddy and other technical issues will be resolved at the state level. For milling to be done by millers, work orders should be issued to millers to lift paddy in large quantities. He has given instructions to conduct the smooth system of token distribution regularly and uninterruptedly. He has said that special care should be taken for the convenience of the farmers in the paddy procurement centers and the purchase of paddy of small farmers should be done on priority basis. Shri Jain has directed to resolve the difficulties in the procurement process by holding regular meetings of the zonal officers posted for paddy procurement. Instructions have been given to pay special attention to the process of texting and home isolation of the citizens of Chhattisgarh who have come from abroad. He has said that on the eighth day after the expiry of the seven-day home isolation period of the travelers from abroad, their RTPCR. Inspection is mandatory.
