Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has greeted and greeted the people of the state on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahavir Swami, the 24th Tirthankar of Jainism, on April 14. Shri Baghel has said that Lord Mahavir emphasized on inner purity along with outer cleanliness. He taught to purify the mind beyond anger, pride, delusion and greed. He has described non-violence above all religions. Mahavir Swami gave the message of truth, non-violence, love and compassion to the society. Shri Baghel has said that the principles and teachings of Lord Mahavir are relevant even today. He taught people to ‘live and let live’.
