Raipur 22 November 2024/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai will gift several development works worth Rs 143 crore 68 lakh to Bilaspur on 23 November. During the programs organized in Bilaspur, the Chief Minister will inaugurate Sakri Road, Minocha Road, Sports Complex, Mini Stadium, multilevel parking constructed near City Kotwali and Ram Setu Marg constructed on the banks of Arpa River. On this occasion, Shri Sai will participate in the Raut Nacha Mahotsav at Lal Bahadur Shastri School.
Ram Setu Marg
Under the Arpa Upliftment and Bank Enhancement Project, the road on the right side of the Arpa River has been named Ram Setu Marg. The cost of Ram Setu route is Rs 49 crore 98 lakh, which includes footpath, divider, street light, retaining wall, pitching and beautification work.
mini stadium
Bilaspur Smart City Limited has constructed a mini stadium at a cost of Rs 21 crore 79 lakh by improving the grounds of the city's old and prestigious Government Multipurpose Higher Secondary School Multipurpose School, which has a well-equipped cricket field of 14115 square meters, which can be used for spectators. Capacity is 850. There is facility to play day-night matches here. A modern gym has been built here along with facilities to play indoor games like snooker, billiards, table tennis, squash. Apart from this, training hall has been constructed. In this building, along with a separate VIP gallery, announcement box and pantry room, a hostel has been built for the players coming from outside. Two lawn tennis courts have been built here.
Sports Complex
A sports complex has been constructed in the Sanjay Taran Pushkar complex at a cost of Rs 14 crore 60 lakh. This three-storey sports complex will have parking in the basement, reception and restaurant on the ground floor. The first floor has badminton, squash court, table tennis, snooker, billiards, the second floor has multipurpose hall, yoga, mat game facilities. The third floor has many entertainment facilities.
It is noteworthy that Bilaspur Smart City Limited has worked on three big projects to strengthen the sports infrastructure in the city, in which the Pink Play Ground has already been inaugurated.
Kotwali Multilevel Parking
A three-storey multilevel car parking has been built in the Kotwali police station premises on three and a half acres at a cost of Rs 29 crore 76 lakh. Apart from the ground floor, parking facility has been provided in all the floors in which 192 cars and 325 bikes can be parked simultaneously. The ground floor has been developed as a commercial complex in which 46 shops have been constructed.
Uslapur-Sakri Road
The Municipal Corporation has upgraded and widened 4.25 km road from Uslapur Railway Overbridge to Sakri Bypass Chowk at a cost of Rs 15 crore 87 lakh. Due to road widening and upgradation, the pedestrians have got a lot of relief and have got relief from traffic jams. Under the upgradation and widening, the width of the route has been increased, dividers have been constructed, street lights and drains have also been constructed on both sides.
Other roads including Minocha Colony
Asphalting, upgrading, signage, Minocha Colony Road and Rotary of various roads of the city at a cost of Rs 11 crore 68 lakh, which mainly includes 800 meter road, divider, street light and rotary from Mahavir Nagar Chowk to Uslapur Over Bridge. .
