Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel attended the program of Dhamdha Raj, the 76th Annual Raj Convention of Chhattisgarh Manwa Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj organized at Saja, the development block headquarters of Bemetara district today. The Chief Minister announced a grant of Rs.1 crore each for infrastructure development in Saja’s Nagar Panchayat-Saja, Deokar, Parpodi, Thankhamharia and Dhamdha. The Chief Minister gave two crore rupees for Swami Atmanand English Medium School Saja and named the 50 bed Mother Child Hospital (MCH) to be built in Saja. (Mrs.) Bindeshwari Devi in the name of Baghel. State Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, Central President of Manwa Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj Shri Chovaram Verma, Dhamdha Raj Pradhan Shri Chandrashekhar Pargania, Patron of the society Ramkumar Sirmaur, Nagar Panchayat President Saja Smt. Shalini Jaiswal and a large number of dignitaries were present in the function. Addressing the 76th Annual Raj Convention of Kurmi Samaj, Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that our forefathers had envisioned the state of Chhattisgarh. With the coming of our government, Chhattisgarhia Raj is being felt. Government holiday has been declared on the traditional Teeja-Pora, Chherchera, Bhakta Mata Karma Jayanti, World Tribal Day of Chhattisgarh. Arpa Parri’s Dhar has been declared as the Raj song. The state government is making every effort to change the condition of the farmers. The amount of the fourth installment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana will be transferred to the bank account of the farmers on March 31, 2022. The Chief Minister said that by starting the Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana, an assistance of Rs 6,000 is being given annually. Now in the new budget, it has been announced to make 7 thousand rupees annually. Arrangements have been made to buy Kodo-Kutki Ragi at support price. The village’s Gothan is being developed as a Rural Industrial Park as per the vision of Mahatma Gandhi. A new experiment has been done in the field of education and 172 Swami Atmanand English medium schools have been opened in the state. Due to this, the children of poor families have also got the opportunity to get free education in English medium. Under the Dr. Khubchand Baghel health insurance scheme, free treatment facility up to Rs. 5 lakh is being provided. The Chief Minister honored the talented youth and women of the society on this occasion. On the restoration of the old pension scheme, the delegation of Saja and the Government Employees Union of Berla gave a warm welcome to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister was welcomed by all the members under the leadership of Saja Shri Krishna Kumar Rathi, Block President of Chhattisgarh Shramjeevi Journalist Association. The Chief Minister was accorded a warm welcome by Kurmi Samaj from Gajmala. Agriculture Minister Shri Choubey said that the State Government is making every effort for the betterment of farmers, laborers and weaker sections of the society. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel waived the loan of 10 thousand crore rupees of farmers on the first day of taking oath. This year, 20 thousand crore rupees were transferred in the account of farmers due to purchase of paddy on support price. The Agriculture Minister, the leader of Manwa Kurmi Samaj, Mr. Chandulal Chandrakar, Late. Vasudev Chandrakar, Mr. Purushottam Kaushik remembered his works towards the upliftment of the society. Mr. Ravindra Choubey did the self of Saaja. Recalling Lateel Ram Verma, he said that by holding his finger, I started my public life. The Agriculture Minister expressed hope that in the coming times, Chhattisgarh will become the most prosperous, happy and advanced state of the country. The Chief Minister is continuously working in this direction. Central President of Manva Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj Shri Chovaram Verma, Dhamdha Raj Pradhan Shri Chandrashekhar Parganiya also addressed the conference.
