Chief Minister pays tribute to national poet Maithilisharan Gupta on his birth anniversary

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has paid tribute to the national poet Maithilisharan Gupta on his birth anniversary on 3rd August. Recalling his works, Mr. Baghel said that the poetry of Gupta ji was full of public awareness and moral consciousness. His writings of Khari Boli, full of national and social consciousness, made an impact on a large section. Seeing the impact of his works during the freedom struggle, Mahatma Gandhi gave him the title of Rashtrakavi. Gupta ji was honored with many awards including Padma Bhushan for his classic literature.
