Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has paid homage to the freedom fighter and social reformer Bharat Ratna Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya on his birth anniversary on December 25. Recalling the incomparable contribution of Mr. Malviya, Mr. Baghel said that Malviya ji tried his best for the independence of the country and played an important role in awakening the national consciousness. Apart from being a great educationist, he was also the founder of Banaras Hindu University, a big center of education in India. He devoted his whole life in the service of Bharat Bhumi and Hindi language. Malaviya ji, along with protecting the importance of the ancient civilization of India, also emphasized on the development of Sanskrit education. He has also been bestowed with the title Mahamana.
