On March 21, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will pay 18 lakh 43 thousand farmers an amount of Rs one thousand 104 crore 27 lakh as the fourth installment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana. So far, 4500 crore rupees have been paid to the farmers in three installments under this scheme. Similarly, 23 crore 62 lakh rupees have been paid in three installments to 4777 farmers of certified seed producers and Rs 74 crore 24 lakh has been paid to sugarcane growers 34 thousand 292 farmers as additional incentives and inputs. In this way, the sum of the fourth installment of paddy producing farmers, 5702 crore 13 lakh rupees is being paid to authentic seed producing farmers and sugarcane growing farmers. Out of this amount, 4597 crore 86 lakh rupees have been paid to the farmers so far.
It is noteworthy that Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana has been implemented on May 21, the date of death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, to provide agricultural input assistance to farmers with an aim to increase production and productivity of major crops of the state. Under the scheme, sugarcane crops have been included in maize, soyabean, groundnut, sesame, pigeonpea, moong, urad, kulthi, ramatil, kodo, kutki, ragi and rabi along with paddy during the Kharif season. Partial implementation of the scheme has been done since Kharif 2019.
Under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, farmers who are cultivating paddy in Kharif 2019 are being paid in installments directly in the bank account at the rate of Rs. 10 thousand per acre on the basis of the acreage obtained through cooperative society. . Under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana, a total of 18.38 lakh farmers including 9.54 lakh marginal farmers, 5.60 lakh small farmers and 3.21 lakh long farmers, Rs 4,500 crore in three installments and Rs 23.62 crore in three installments to 4,777 certified seed growers. The money has been paid. In this way, 4523.62 crore has been paid to a total of 18.43 lakh farmers in three installments. In the fourth and final installment, Rs 1104.27 crore will be paid on 21 March 2021. In this scheme, the first installment to the farmers on 21 May 2020 is Rs 1500 crores, the second installment is Rs 1500 crores on 20 August 2020, The third installment has been paid Rs 1500 crore on 1 November 2020, Rs 23.62 crore has been paid to the seed producing farmers. 1104.27 crore will be paid to the farmers on 21 March 2021 as the fourth installment of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. A total of 5 thousand 627 crore 89 lakh rupees will be paid to the farmers, including the amount of the fourth installment of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana and the amount given to the certified seed producing farmers.
Sugarcane crop producing farmers under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana for the sugarcane crop in the crushing year 2019-20, based on the quantity of sugarcane purchased by the cooperative factory, additional FRP amount of 261 per quintal and a total of Rs 93.75 per quintal An amount of Rs 74 crore 24 lakh has been paid to 34,292 farmers at the rate of Rs 355 per quintal. Of this amount, 12,077 farmers of Bhoradamdev sugar factory Kawardha, Rs 23 crore 53 lakh, Ma Mahamaya sugar factory Rs 13 crore to 13,441 farmers of Ambikapur, Rs 5 crore 38 lakh to 1,314 farmers of Maa Danteshwari Mayya sugar factory, Balod, iron man Sardar. Rs 19 crore 33 lakh has been paid to 7,460 farmers of Vallabhbhai Patel sugar factory, Pandaria.
