Chief Minister gave the gift of “Aamcho Kutumb” to Bastar Police

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel reached Jagdalpur today during the ongoing meet-and-greet campaign in Bastar. Here he inaugurated “Aamcho Kutumb”, a residential complex for policemen. 48 G type and 120 H type houses have been made for non-gazetted officers as well as head constables and constables in the newly constructed police residential complex “Aamcho Kutumb”. In this way, 168 houses have been built here for policemen. The Chief Minister inaugurated the residential complex by offering prayers and also inspected the house. The Chief Minister congratulated the police personnel and their families on getting the gift of “Aamcho Kutumb”. Along with the inauguration of the residential complex “Aamcho Kutumb”, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel also interacted with the police family. During a meeting with police families in Jagdalpur, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that peace is being established in Bastar only due to hard work and sacrifice of police personnel. With the establishment of peace, the common man also leads a life of peace. Here in Bastar range headquarters, police personnel from all the seven districts as well as from other districts also come to serve. Due to lack of government accommodation, they live away from their family. Now the morale of the soldiers will increase due to the housing arrangement here and they will be able to spend more time with the family. This will also increase their efficiency. During this, Chief Minister, Mr. Baghel, while talking about providing better facilities in the police residential complex, asked for the installation of swings on behalf of the Municipal Corporation. Along with this, the Chief Minister also planted a mango sapling here. Announcement of police canteen on the demand of head constable: During meeting with the police family, head constable Mrs. Bijo Lakra shared the problems with the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel regarding the arrangement of food and demanded to start a fair price canteen. On this, the Chief Minister instinctively asked whether you want this facility in the range headquarters or in the entire division? And Chief Minister Mr. Baghel has announced the operation of Amcho Police Canteens in all the seven districts of Bastar division. Meritorious students were rewarded: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel honored the meritorious students under the Shaheed Vinod Choubey Scholarship Scheme. He rewarded Sahil Kashyap and Tejaswini Kunjam for their excellent performance in class 12th board examination by presenting them a check of Rs.36 thousand. On the other hand, Yuvraj Kurre and Namrata Gagde, who excelled in class 10th, were given a check of Rs 24 thousand. The meritorious students also posed for photographs with the Chief Minister.
