Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has greeted and greeted the people of the state on January 12, the birth anniversary of the great philosopher and world famous spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda, ‘National Youth Day’. Shri Baghel has said in his congratulatory message that the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda have given a new direction to the entire society. He showed the country and the world the path of service of mankind through his sermons and eloquent lectures. Many aphorisms like ‘Arise, wake up and don’t stop till the goal is achieved’ of Swamiji fills the youth with new energy even today. The Chief Minister has said that it is a matter of honor and pride for Chhattisgarh. That Swami Vivekananda spent most of his life in Raipur after Calcutta. He spent his childhood in Budhapara here. In order to preserve and beautify his invaluable memories, the state government is developing Swamiji’s residence, Rai Bahadur Bhootnath De Bhawan, as a memorial. The Budha Talab of Raipur is now known as Vivekananda Sarovar. The idol of Vivekananda ji’s meditative posture installed here introduces the future generation to his glorious history. The International Cricket Stadium and International Airport at Nava Raipur are also known after Vivekananda, which marks Swamiji’s association with Raipur all over the world. The Chief Minister said that the incredible legacy of Swamiji’s thoughts handed down to us at the young age of forty-nine years is important and relevant even today.
