Chief Minister announced one crore rupees for the construction of 5 buildings of Yadav Samaj

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel attended the Mahasammelan program of Jheria Yadav Samaj organized at village Birkoni of district Mahasamund today. This program was organized by Jheria Yadav Samaj. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced an amount of Rs. 20 lakh each for the construction of Yadav social buildings Khalari, Shivrinarayan, Sirpur, Dabra and Madhuban Dham Dhamtari and Rs. 6 lakh for the construction of social building at Birkoni. On this occasion, Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey had arrived with the Chief Minister to participate in the Mahasammelan. On reaching the conference, Chief Minister Shri Baghel was warmly welcomed by Yadav Samaj by wearing traditional costumes like kori, patti-kuleta, stick etc. . Addressing the program, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that Chhattisgarh government is buying cow dung for Rs. 2 per kg through Godhan Nyay Yojana along with construction of Gauthan in villages for the protection and promotion of livestock. In lieu of purchase of cow dung in the state, regular payment of amount is being made in the bank accounts of cattle farmers and cow rearers. He said that those who do not have land, do not have cattle, they are also getting profit by selling cow dung. Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that many people of Yadav community are strengthening their economic condition by selling cow dung along with farming. He said that the schemes of the Chhattisgarh government are being praised everywhere. Other states are also planning to buy cow dung. The Chief Minister said that his government was working for the development of all societies and sections. The Chief Minister said that paddy was being purchased in the state on support price. He said that about one lakh 30 thousand acres of land has been secured in 10 thousand Gauthans in the state. He said that before the formation of Chhattisgarh state, our ancestors had dreamed of development in Chhattisgarh. It is being fulfilled now. There is a change in the lives of laborers, poor and farmers here. He said that as soon as the government was formed, the loans of farmers were waived off and the electricity bill was halved. In about three years, electricity bill of Rs 2200 crore was waived. 35 kg rice is being given free to every family. Along with this, under the Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumiless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana, the landless agricultural laborer family will now be given 7 thousand rupees instead of 6 thousand rupees per annum. The second installment will be given in the account of these laborers till March 31. Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey said that Yadav society is a contented and progressing society on the basis of its work. He said that Mahasamund district is the leading paddy producing district. He said that about 16 lakh quintals of organic manure produced in Gauthans has reached the farmers’ fields, due to which there will be no worry about chemical fertilizers. Parliamentary Secretary Shri Dwarkadhish Yadav and Chandrapur MLA Ramkumar Yadav addressed the conference and raised other demands including community building.
