Chhattisgarh Pride Day will be celebrated in the state on December 17

Chhattisgarh Pride Day will be organized by the government on December 17 on completion of 04 years tenure of the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. On this day programs were organized in all Gothans, cooperative society complexes, paddy procurement centers, tendu leaf collection centers, forest produce management committees, haat-bazaars operating in all districts, wards of urban areas to inform people about the public welfare schemes of the government. Information will be given. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will also give a message to the people of the state at 11 am. According to the outline prepared for the celebration of Chhattisgarh Gaurav Diwas, farmers, chairman of the Gothan Committee and Members, cattle rearers, landless laborers, public representatives, members of local bodies, local residents including members of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club will be invited and information about the achievements made by the government under various schemes in the last 04 years will be given. Along with this, information about the major schemes of the government will also be provided. By inviting farmers at Primary Cooperative Society premises, paddy purchase centers at 3 pm, information about major agricultural schemes of the government such as interest-free loan scheme, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana etc. will be given to them. In the forest areas of the state, on the same day at 11 am, information about the schemes being run for the farmers and laborers will be given at Tendupatta collection centers and also at the office sites of the Forest Produce Management Committee. Information about public welfare schemes of the government will also be given to the people in the hot market places operated in all the districts. Programs will be organized at the ward level from 11 am in the urban areas. In this, by inviting local public representatives and residents of the ward, they will be apprised of the achievements of the four years of governance. The state government started functioning on December 17, 2018, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. Within two hours of the formation of the government, the government fulfilled the promises like buying paddy at the rate of two and a half thousand rupees per quintal, waiving the debt of farmers, waiving irrigation tax. The government had procured 80.37 lakh metric tonnes of paddy that year at the rate of Rs 2500 per quintal. After this, by starting the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, arrangements were made to give input subsidy to farmers on crops. After the implementation of this scheme, the number of farmers, the area under cultivation and the quantity of paddy procured increased every year. 84 lakh metric tonnes of paddy was procured in the year 2019-20, 92 lakh metric tonnes in 2020-21, 98 lakh metric tonnes in 2021-22. This year a target has been set to procure 110 lakh quintals of paddy. Input subsidy of Rs 16,401 crore 45 lakh has been paid so far in four years under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Enhancing the scope of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, now all Kharif crops, horticulture crops, tree plantation and Kodo-Kutki-Ragi have also been included in it. At the beginning of its tenure, the government led by Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel had waived the outstanding agricultural loan of Rs 9270 crore on 17 lakh 82 thousand farmers. Similarly, irrigation tax of Rs 244 crore 18 lakh outstanding on more than 17 lakh farmers for years was also waived within two hours. After this, the outstanding irrigation tax of Rs 80 crore from the year 2018 to June 2021 was also waived. Similarly, fulfilling another promise, the government returned 4,200 acres of acquired land to 1,707 farmers in Lohandiguda, Bastar. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel started the Suraji Gaon Yojana giving the slogan Garhbo Nava Chhattisgarh, the Narva, Garva, Ghurva, Bari programs operated under it became the basis for strengthening the rural economy. Through this scheme, the state government also achieved the goal of realizing the dream of Gram Swaraj as per the dreams of Mahatma Gandhi. Starting the series of justice schemes, schemes like Godhan Nyay Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumihin Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana were also implemented in the state. Chhattisgarh became the first state in the country to buy cow dung at Rs 2 a kg and cow urine at Rs 4 a liter under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. Along with the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, livelihood oriented activities were also started in more than 9 thousand 619 Gothans built under the Garva component of Suraji Gaon Yojana in the state, which provided employment to thousands of women self-help groups members. Starting the RIPA scheme, 300 Gothans are being upgraded as rural industrial parks. Tendupatta collection rate was increased from Rs.2500 per standard bag to Rs.4000 per standard bag to give the residents of forest areas their rights. Similarly, the number of minor forest produce to be purchased at the support price was increased from 07 to 65.
