Chhattisgarh government is working to save tribal cultural heritage: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel attended the convention of tribal society organized at Sarna Ethnic Resort in Jashpur. Addressing the conference, the Chief Minister said that our government is working to save the cultural heritage of the tribal society. A three-day tribal conference was organized in Raipur, in which artists from across the country and abroad showed their cultural art. Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that to preserve the tribal society during the meeting, approval is being given for the construction work of Dev Sthal, Devgudi. In the conference, the tribal society welcomed the Chief Minister with a traditional shawl and sword-shield. The Chief Minister said that the Scheduled Tribes Department has been instructed to study and prepare its report to remove the problem faced by the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in making the caste certificate. He said that in view of the demand of parents and children for admission in Swami Atmanand Government English Medium School, the number of these schools is being increased. This year 76 more new Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium Schools are being started. The number of Swami Atmanand English schools in the state has increased to 247. Continuous efforts are being made to ensure that more and more children get admission in these schools. The number of seats in each class has been increased from 40 to 50 now. The Chief Minister said that better health facilities were provided to the people in the state during the Corona period. Our government is doing better work in the direction of providing health, education and employment and people are getting its benefits. Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that in order to make farmers financially self-reliant, input subsidy is being given under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. All Kharif crops and horticulture crops have been included in this scheme. Arrangements have been made for immediate payment of paddy purchase from farmers on support price. The purchase of Kodo-Kutki, Ragi is also being done on support price. Pulses will also be procured in the state on support price. He said that the weather of Jashpur district is favorable for agriculture. Chilli, tau, cashew, tea, litchi and pear are well cultivated here. To make the village financially self-sufficient, Gauthan is being developed as an industrial park.
