The Confederation of All India Traders Association (CAIT) has written a letter to the Union Finance Minister demanding that the changes in the GST (GST) be reconsidered. Also, they should be avoided for now. Kat says traders are at a disadvantage because of these rules. In the letter written by CAT, it has been said that the tax system should be simplified and integrated.
CAT’s national vice-president Amar Parvani and state executive president Vikram Singhdev said that as per the new rules, traders with 50 million monthly turnover will also have to pay one percent GST. Also, now the GST officer can cancel the registration of the traders and the traders will not be heard. He said that traders are upset due to these new rules. These rules should be changed.
