Raipur. There is a possibility of rain with strong storm and thunder in Chhattisgarh in the next two days. According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon activities will increase in the coming days and the maximum temperature will decrease in 5 days. Monsoon has been weak in the state for the last few days, but light rain has also been occurring in some areas. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in some districts including the capital Raipur today on Thursday.

The weather of the state was like this last day

On Wednesday, the highest temperature in the state was recorded at 39.6 degrees in Dongargarh and the lowest at 23.5 degrees in Raipur. At the same time, 70 mm of rain was recorded in Suhela, 60 mm in Pendra, 50 mm in Kawardha and 40 mm in Raipur.

Chances of rain today

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of moderate rain with thunder and strong winds in the districts of all divisions today. Rain is expected in the capital Raipur, Baloda Bazar, Gariaband, Dhamtari, Durg, Balod, Bemetara, Kabirdham, Rajnandgaon, Bilaspur, Pendra Road, Raigarh, Mungeli, Korba and Janjgir.

At the same time, light to moderate rains are likely to occur along with strong thunderstorms and lightning in Surguja, Jashpur, Korea, Surajpur, Balrampur, Bastar, Kondagaon, Dantewada, Sukma, Kanker, Bijapur and Narayanpur districts.

Let us tell you that the monsoon came to the state via Bastar division and till now it is more active in Bastar. Heavy storm and rain occurred in many areas of the division on Wednesday. In Bilaspur too, cloudy and rainy weather has been prevailing for the last 3 days. Light to moderate rain is expected in most areas of Surguja division on Thursday.
