CG NEWS: Police clamp down on drug trade, a supplier arrested along with 2 girls

Gaurav Jain, Gaurela Pendra Marwahi. Police has taken action against drug trade. The police have arrested the traders of banned drugs. In which two peddlers, one supplier along with drugs were seized. Two girls are also included among the accused. This matter is of Gaurela police station area.

Gaurela police station in-charge received information that two children were sitting near Baba Pond in an intoxicated state. The police received information from those children which was shocking. He had taken medicine. While buying from Babli Sahu of Sarbahra and Nasreen Ali of Purana Gorela, they told to give injections. Also Prince Rajak of Gaurela brings them injections and gives them injections. On receiving information about this, the team of Gaurela police station and cyber cell started searching for the three accused. During this, two girls were arrested from their home and one accused was arrested from Pendra. Police have seized banned medicines, money and mobile phones from the three accused. Action is being taken on all this under the Narcotic Act.

Materials seized from the three accused

Buprenarphine IP, 48 pieces of Avil IP, mobile sale amount of Rs 3,600 were seized from Babli Sahu, 34 years resident of Sarbahra (Gaurela).

12 pieces of buprenarphine IP, 31 pieces of avil IP, 1 mobile with sale amount of Rs 1,000 were seized from Nasreen Ali, age 30, resident of Bharian Khor, Old Gaurela.

Prince Rajak, 22, Ward No. 7 Khairmai Chowk (Gaurela) has also been arrested under NDPS Act.
