CG Morning News: Raipur. Due to lack of faculty and various facilities, a fine of Rs 5 lakh has been imposed on Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College of the capital. The National Medical Commission has also imposed fines on other medical colleges of the state like Bilaspur, Korba in the same cases.

According to the information, there is a shortage of faculty, residents and tutors in many departments in Medical College Raipur. The number of patients in OPD, lab tests are not up to the standards. Apart from this, deficiencies were found on many other points. Regarding this, NMC has warned of strict action against Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and asked why your seats should not be reduced.

In this case, the college management has provided the necessary documents to the Directorate of Medical Education on the basis of the NMC report. The Directorate has written a letter to the NSC saying that the deficiencies will be removed soon. Raipur Medical College currently has 230 UG seats. It is the oldest medical college in the state.

The maximum temperature may be 41 degrees Celsius.
