Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will be on a tour of neighboring state Odisha today. CM Sai will attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister of Odisha Mohan Charan Majhi. Chief Minister Sai will leave for Odisha from Raipur Airport at 10.20 am. The swearing-in ceremony of the Chief Minister is going to be held at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar. Mohan Charan Majhi will take oath in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After the program, CM Sai will return to Raipur at 8.45 pm.

National Mango Festival organized in Raipur

A three-day National Mango Festival will be organized at Indira Gandhi Agricultural University in Raipur from today. The National Mango Festival will begin at 4 pm. Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam will inaugurate the National Mango Festival. During this, many ministers and MLAs will also participate. More than 150 varieties of mango and ‘Chhappan Bhog’ made from mango will be displayed in this festival. Let us tell you that the Mango Festival being organized at the Agricultural University will run from 12 to 14 June. The Mango Festival is being organized by Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Directorate of Horticulture and Field Forestry and Society Towards Nature.

Tata Itwari and South Bihar Express cancelled today

The railway administration has blocked the track near Chakradharpur Railway Division of South East Central Railway for work to be carried out. Due to this, the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Tata Nagar Express train running between Tata Nagar Itwari will remain closed on Wednesday, June 12. Similarly, the South Bihar Express running between Ara Durg has been cancelled from Durg Railway to Rourkela Railway Station for Wednesday, June 12.

The Center sent an amount of Rs 4,761 crore to Chhattisgarh

The Union Finance Ministry has given an amount of Rs 4761.30 crore to Chhattisgarh for the year 2024-2025. Which has been welcomed by Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and the state BJP. Along with this, gratitude has been expressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Chief Minister Sai has said that these funds received from the Center will be used for the benefit of the people of the state and for development work here. At the same time, BJP State President Kirandev said that the Prime Minister has always had a heartfelt attachment towards Chhattisgarh. Even before this, an amount of about Rs 4 lakh crore was given to Chhattisgarh in the last 10 years.
