Godhan Nyaya Yojana, which is the flagship scheme of Chhattisgarh government, through this scheme, the villagers of Amaldiha village, the last end of Nawagarh development block of Bemetara district, are getting the means of employment as well as getting economic benefits. This rural area is getting benefits from its four items from the Narva Ghurwa, Garwa and Bari scheme. Under this scheme, which was started from 20 July 2020, Rs. Cow dung was procured at the rate of kg and by organizing the traditional Gothan of the village for animals, necessary construction works like animal shed, construction of vermi tank, water system, wire cordon for security, plantation for greenery etc. have been done. Gram Panchayat Amaldiha’s Panchayat Secretary Mr. Tarasinh Tandon told that 208814 Kg. Cow dung has been purchased and Rs 417628 has been paid to the beneficiaries in their respective bank accounts. Mr. Ramprasad Nishad, chairman of Gauthan Samiti of village Amaldiha, said that Gauthan has been constructed for animal shelter in about two acres, for which Cattle shed construction work is in progress inside and both solar pump and electric power pump are available for water availability. By constructing 52 compost tanks for manufacturing vermicompost manure from the purchased cow dung, vermicompost manure is being manufactured through women’s groups. The farmers of the village and surrounding villages are also using vermicompost in their fields through Seva Sahakari Samiti Narayanpur. Construction of self-help group shed – Mr. R. K Chaturvedi Senior Agricultural Development Officer Nawagarh informed that the people of the village are directly and indirectly benefiting from this ambitious scheme of the government, the women who were confined to the house only, today they are joining this Gauthan and manufacturing vermicompost. She is running her livelihood through vegetable production, poultry farming, goat rearing, farm development and is becoming financially empowered. Mr. Dushyant Kumar Markande, the nodal of village Amaldiha Gothan, informed that a total of 05 women groups are working for their livelihood in this Gaudan. Roshni self-help group is doing vermicompost manure production and fencing. Till now 550 Kw. Vermi compost has been produced and sold to the farmers of the area, due to which the group has received a dividend amount of 215600. Similarly, fisheries work is being done by Shakti Self Help Group and till now a total income of 15000 has been received. Poultry farming is being done by Jai Budhadev Self-Help Group and Kiran Self-Help Group and 20000 chickens have been sold by both the groups. The work of vegetable production is also being done by Maa Sheetla Self-Help Group in Bari Vikas. 10-12 women are working in all women groups. In this way, 55-60 women are getting employment through Gauthan. Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat Nawagarh Ms. Pragya Yadav said that Rural Industrial Park will be developed under this scheme in village Amaldiha. Whose infrastructure construction work is going to start soon. In which the construction work of facing pole, mesh wire, flyash breaks, and disposable carry bags will be done by the women self-help group of the village. Fruit trees have been planted in the pastures of Gothan and dabri has also been constructed for fish farming.
