Collector Ms. Ara appreciated and congratulated the works of Sarpanch, Secretary and Women Self Help Group and encouraged them to do better work continuously. According to the intention of the state government, the collector has given instructions to buy cow dung in Gauthan and make vermicompost manure on priority. He directed the officers to conduct multipurpose activities regularly in Gauthan. The Collector inquired about the Rural Industrial Park RIPA programme. The women of Gauthan told that egg production, mushroom, bakery, scented oil activities will be done under Ripa, for which new women self. Training is being given to the support group. The collector inspected the poultry shed, quail shed, goat shed, mushroom shed, rice cum flour mill shed and directed the concerned officers to have linkage with Sea Mart so that all the products get better market. The collector also encouraged women to produce turmeric, banana, ginger, mushroom and other vegetables. The women of Khadgwa Kala Adarsh Gauthan’s women self-help group told that depending on the season, tomato, gourd, cucumber, potato, barbati, ridge gourd, turmeric, okra, marigold flower etc. are planted in Gauthan, due to which they are getting economic benefits. The vegetables produced in Gauthan are supplied for the mid-day meals operated in the nearby primary, secondary schools and Anganwadi centers. The collector also got informed about the problems faced by the women of women self-help groups and the women informed about the problems of electricity and water in some areas. The collector directed the concerned officers to ensure arrangements.
