Let us tell you that for the last 48 hours, the raid action of the Income Tax Department is going on in many districts of the state including Raipur, Durg, Bhilai, Raigarh. In which, apart from former minister Amarjeet Bhagat, documents are being searched at 47 locations including businessmen Chauhan Builders, Pradeep Jain, Vijay Jain, Sandeep Jain, Pappu Bansal, Chandrabhan Sherwani. In these raids, senior officers of the Income Tax Department have reached Raipur from Bhopal.

Action is going on at the residence of former Food Minister Amarjeet Bhagat in MLA Colony, Raipur along with the personal assistant of the former Food Minister in Rajpur, Balrampur. It is being told that the Income Tax Department team has seized more than Rs 2 crore in cash, jewelery and important documents in the raid.
