In order to promote citizen-centric governance and improve service delivery, Government of India celebrated ‘Good Governance Week-Governance to the Village’ from 19 December to 25 December, in line with the Amrit Mahotsav celebrations of India’s 75 years of independence going. In this regard, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain has written a letter to all divisional commissioners and collectors, instructing them to organize special camps and programs for redressal of public grievances and better service delivery. In the letter written by the Chief Secretary, Chhattisgarh Government’s General Administration Department, celebrating the good governance week towards the administration village, instructions have been given to organize a workshop on good governance on December 23, along with redressal of complaints and special programmes. He informed all the Divisional Commissioners and Collectors about the actions to be taken under Good Governance Week by the State and District Administration for redressal of public grievances and improvement in public service delivery through the Government of India portal as well as through multimedia platforms including social media Twitter Facebook etc. Apart from the steps taken, instructions have also been given to upload the progress and achievements.Continue Reading
