Camp organized by Labor Department in village Tilai

The labor department organized a camp in Tilai Gram Panchayat of Akaltara’s development block of the district. Addressing the camp by Smt. Manju Singh (Member Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board) present in the camp, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel explained in detail about the public welfare schemes and registration of labor department operated under Chhattisgarh government and the welfare of the workers and Inspired to be compulsorily registered with the Labor Department for welfare. In the camp, conducted in the department by Shri Ghanshyam Panigrahi (Labor Officer) Sarpanch and Upsarpanch Tilai – 110 beneficiaries under Mukhyamantri Noni Empowerment Assistance Scheme at the rate of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. The distribution of checks amounting to Rs. 5,20,000 from Mann was done by the lotus tax of Mrs. Maju Singh, and 32 new workers were registered through the camp site itself. Objective of the camp: In case of death of a registered labor beneficiary in the main public welfare schemes run under the department such as Chief Minister Construction Workers Death and Divyang Sahayata Yojana, an assistance amount of Rs 1,00,000 is provided to his successor. In the last 03 years, 445 beneficiaries were benefitted under this scheme with a total amount of Rs.4,45,00,000. Under the Minimata Mahtari Jatan Yojna, the first 02 deliveries of a female laborer are benefitted with Rs 20,000. In the last three years, under this scheme, 1060 women beneficiaries were benefitted with a total amount of Rs.99,20,000. Under Mukhyamantri Noni Sashaktikaran Sahayata Yojana, 02 unmarried daughters (whose age is between 18-21 years) of the registered beneficiary are benefitted with Rs 20,000. In the last three years, 72 daughters were benefitted under this scheme with an amount of Rs.14,40,000. Under the Naunihal Scholarship Assistance Scheme, a scholarship of Rs 1000 to Rs 10,000 is provided to the first 02 children of a registered laborer. In the last 03 years, 706 beneficiaries were benefitted under this scheme with a total amount of Rs 12,59,500 and the first 02 children of the registered beneficiary under the Chief Minister Meritorious Student / Student Education Promotion Assistance Scheme will get 75 percent marks in higher education. Assistance amount up to Rs 12500 is provided. In the last three years, 219 beneficiaries were benefitted under this scheme with a total amount of Rs.11,91,500.
