Cabinet Minister Shri Akbar inaugurated new branch of District Co-operative Central Bank in Taregaon forest

State’s Forest, Transport, Housing, Environment, Law, Legislative and Climate Change Minister and Kawardha MLA Shri Mohammad Akbar has today launched a new branch of District Co-operative Central Bank Maryadit Rajnangaon in Taregaon forest of his Kawardha assembly constituency. This was a years old demand of Vananchal region. Before inaugurating the bank, Shri Akbar garlanded the picture of Chhattisgarh Mahtari and duly offered prayers. At the beginning of the program, the Rajgiya song of Chhattisgarh was also praised. Minister Shri Akbar inquired about the functioning of the bank during this time and talked to the account holders who came to withdraw money in the bank. Shri Yashwant Markam, a resident of village Rali, took out 10 thousand rupees from the bank. Withdraw 3 thousand rupees in cash from Mr. Tihar Singh, resident of Baijalpur. He told Minister Akbar that now we will not have to go far with the opening of the bank. This will save both time and money. He told that earlier one had to go to Bodla for bank work and withdrawal of money. But now the facilities have expanded due to the opening of banks in Vananchal for the residents of the area. Minister Shri Akbar congratulated and extended his best wishes on the opening of the new bank branch. Cabinet Minister Shri Akbar said that the Chhattisgarh Government led by Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel is laying emphasis on strengthening the rural economy of the State as well as on expansion of banking facilities in the rural areas of the State. The expansion of banking facilities in Taregaon forest today is also the result of the state government. He said that with the opening of this bank, thousands of farmers of Vananchal region will get direct benefits. Minister Shri Akbar informed that 1500 farmers of Baijalpur committee and 1500 farmers of Boda will get benefit by opening of bank in Taregaon forest. On this occasion, Mr. Akbar distributed renewed ration cards under Chhattisgarh Sarvbhaum PDS Scheme to hundreds of beneficiaries of village Taregaon Jungle, Banti Pathra, Durjanpur. On this occasion Shri Neelkanth Chandravanshi, CREDA member Kanhaiya Agrawal, District Panchayat member Shri Mukhiram Markam, Bodla District President Smt. Amita Prabhati Markam, District Agricultural Produce Market President Shri Neelkanth Sahu, Vice President Shri Chovaram Sahu, Shri Pitambar Verma, Nagar Panchayat President Smt.
