Business Reform Action Plan meeting held

Under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, a meeting regarding Business Reform Action Plan under the Department of Industries and Commerce was held at Mantralaya Mahanadi here today. In the meeting, a detailed discussion was held regarding the implementation of the reforms under various departments of the State Government under which the Business Reform and Citizen Reform were to be implemented. It was informed in the meeting that all the process under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (Health Card) has to be done online. In this regard, the officials were directed to take necessary action at the earliest. Instructions were given to develop a single window system for providing citizen services through a single portal. Under this, services like birth, death certificate, electricity connection, ration card, employment registration are included. In this meeting organized through video conferencing, Agriculture Department Secretary Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, Special Secretary Industries and Commerce Mr. Himshikhar Gupta along with Food Civil Supplies. And officials of other departments including Consumer Department, Energy, Urban Administration, Revenue, Housing Environment, Technical Education, Labor Department and Environment Protection Board participated.
