Leader of Opposition Dharamlal Kaushik on Thursday demanded a judicial probe into suicide of a woman and two children in Ghurbeda Panchayat of Abhujmarh.
Kaushik termed the incident as unfortunate. The party extended all support to the bereaved family. He said that the circumstances which led to the woman taking such extreme steps should be probed through a judicial inquiry. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel should soon constitute the judicial probe committee, he demanded.
BJP leader said the woman had been instigated to commit suicide which is most unfortunate. The family members claimed that her husband was taken away by the police and was killed in an encounter, he alleged. The woman was disturbed after the demise of her husband and finally took the extreme step. Justice will prevail only if the matter is probed at the earliest, he added.
