Laxmikant Bansod, Balod. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today provided input assistance to the farmers of the state under Krishak Unnati Yojana in Balod district. Under Krishak Unnati Yojana, programs were organized at 151 places in the entire state, in which more than 10 lakh farmers participated. During the ceremony, input assistance amounting to Rs 13,320 crore was transferred to more than 24,72,000 farmers of the state. Under the scheme, an amount of more than Rs 686 crore 57 lakh was transferred to 1 lakh 44 thousand 481 farmers of Balod district.

He also inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 65 development works costing more than Rs 28 crore for the district. These include inauguration of 20 works costing Rs 20 crore 87 lakh and bhoomi pujan work of 45 works costing Rs 7 crore 12 lakh.

The Chief Minister inaugurated 10 works costing Rs 7 crore 56 lakh and performed bhumi pujan of 18 works costing Rs 6 crore 29 lakh for Sanjari Balod assembly constituency. Whereas for Daundilohara assembly constituency, 7 works costing Rs 6 crore 90 lakh were inaugurated and for Gunderdehi assembly constituency, three works costing Rs 6 crore 38 lakh were inaugurated and bhumi pujan of 27 works costing Rs 83 lakh was done.
