Raipur. Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel can contest the Lok Sabha elections. In today’s screening committee meeting, his name was proposed by former minister Mohd. Akbar fielded Rajnandgaon seat, which was supported by all the MLAs of Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha constituency.

Lok Sabha-wise meetings of Congress are continuing. A proposal has been made for senior leaders to contest the Lok Sabha elections. In this, a proposal was made to contest Bhupesh Baghel from Rajnandgaon and Tamradhwaj Sahu from Mahasamund. It was suggested to contest Mohan Markam from Kanker and Shiv Dahriya from Janjgir.
