Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel took a holy dip in Kharun river on the auspicious occasion of Kartik Purnima and worshipped Lord Mahadev by performing Jalabhishekh at historical Hatkeshwar Mahadev Mandir, here on Tuesday.
Baghel attended traditional Ganga Arti programme and performed Deep-Daan. He extended greetings and best wishes for Kartik Purnima to the people.
Folk artiste Dilip Shadangi presented official song “Arpa Pairi Ke Dhaar… ” at the cultural programme organised on the occasion. MLAs along with Mahant Ram Sunder Das, prominent citizens and devotees were present in large number.
